📐 Formulas & Wastage Lookup ▼

Tile Calculation

Tiles = Area ÷ TileArea × (1 + WasteFactor/100)

Always round up to whole tiles. Purchase 5-10% extra for future repairs.

Pattern Wastage Guide

PatternWasteNotes
Straight10%Minimal waste, easiest layout
45° Diagonal15%Corner triangles create waste
Herringbone20%Complex cuts at borders
Basket Weave12%Moderate waste at edges
Running Bond10%Offset pattern, moderate waste

Blade Life

Diamond: 200-400 sqft (ceramic/porcelain)

Ceramic: 100-200 sqft (ceramic only)

Dry Cut: 50-100 sqft (quick jobs)

Wet Cut: 300-600 sqft (with water cooling)

💡 Pro Tips ▼
  • Buy all tiles from the same dye lot — color varies between production runs.
  • Dry lay tiles first to plan cuts and minimize waste before cutting.
  • Use a wet saw for clean cuts on porcelain and natural stone.
  • Mark cut lines with grease pencil, not marker — it wipes off easily.
  • Keep 2-3 spare tiles for future repairs — matching later is nearly impossible.
  • Account for grout lines — 1/16" to 1/4" spacing affects total tile count.

1

Messen Sie die Gesamtfläche.

2

Geben Sie Fliesenmaße ein.

3

Wählen Sie das Muster.

4

Geben Sie den Verschnittfaktor ein.

5

Klicken Sie auf Berechnen.

6

Überprüfen Sie die Details.

📐 Zuschnittformeln

Grundformel: Fliesen = (Fläche ÷ Fliesenfläche) × (1 + Verschnitt). Fugenmörtelmenge hängt von Fugenbreite ab. Klebermenge hängt von Größe und Untergrund ab.

⚠️ Häufige Fehler

✕

Verschnitt unterschätzen.

✕

Muster beachten nicht.

✕

Falsche Fugenbreite.

✕

Dicke nicht beachten.

✕

Zuschnitte rund um Hindernisse.

💡 Professionelle Tipps

✓

Bestellen Sie immer 10 bis 15 Prozent mehr.

✓

Planen Sie von der Raummitte.

✓

Verwenden Sie eine Nasssäge.

✓

Markieren Sie Zuschnittlinien.

✓

Lagern Sie Reservefliesen.

✓

Üben Sie vor der Installation.

✓

Kleber: 30-40 kg. Gesamtkosten: 300-600 Dollar.
