Formulas
Excavation Volume = Length × Width × Depth
Backfill Volume= Excavation Volume × (1 + Compaction Rate / 100)
Compacted Volume= Excavation Volume × (1 - Shrinkage / 100)
Truck Trips = Backfill Volume / Truck Capacity
Total Cost= (Material Cost × Volume) + (Haul Cost × Trips) + Labour
Worked Example
20 ft × 10 ft × 4 ft excavation, Gravel backfill, 10 cu yd truck:
- Volume: 20 × 10 × 4 =800 cu ft = 29.6 cu yd
- With 20% compaction: 29.6 × 1.20 = 35.5 cu yd loose
- Truck trips: 35.5 / 10 = 4 trips
- Material: 35.5 × $25 = $887.50
- Haul: 4 × $150 = $600.00
Material Types
| Material | Density (lb/cu yd) | Swell % | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Native Soil | 2,600 | 15-25% | General backfill |
| Gravel | 2,700 | 12-20% | Drainage, structural fill |
| Sand | 2,400 | 10-15% | Pipe bedding, fine fill |
| Clay Mix | 2,700 | 20-35% | Liner, moisture barrier |
Pro Tips
- Compact in 6-12 inch lifts for optimal density
- Wet soil slightly during compaction for better results
- Use geotextile fabric between different soil layers
- Keep topsoil separate for landscaping restoration
- Check moisture content — too wet or too dry reduces compaction

Dolu, temeller, fore kazik duvarlari, servis hendekleri ve diger yeralti yapilarinin etrafindaki kazilmis alanlara toprak veya tanecikli malzeme geri koyma surecidir. Dogru dolgu hesabi her insaat projesi icin onemlidir.
Dolu hesaplama sureci dikkatle ele alinmasi gereken birkac ana degisken icerir. Kazilmis hacim baslangic noktasidir, ancak cevreleyen yapinin hacmini de hesaba katmalisiniz.
Yogunlastirma sirasindaki toprak davranisi baska bir karmasiklik katmani ekler. Kazilmis toprak gevsemis haldeyken yuzde 15 ile 30 arasinda genisler.
📖 Dolgu Miktarlari Nasil Hesaplanir
Kazim Olcutlerini Olcun
Kazimin uzunlugu, genisligi ve derinligini kaydedin.
Yapi Hesabini Hesaplayin
Kazim icindeki tum yapi elemanlarinin hacmini belirleyin.
Bosluk Hacmini Belirleyin
Yapi hacmini kazim hacminden cikararak net boslugu bulun.
Dolgu Malzemesi Secin
YapIsal gereksinimlere ve drenaj ihtiYAcIaRIna gORE uygun dolgu malzemesini secin.
Yogunlastirma Faktorlerini UygulayIn
Secilen malzemenin contracts faktorunu kullanarak bosluk hacmini gerekli malzeme miktarina donusturun.
Yogunlastirma Katmanlarini PlanlayIn
Maksimum kat kalinligina bagli olarak yogunlastirma kat sayisini belirleyin.
📐 Dolgu Hesaplama Formulleri
Temel formul: Net Dolgu Hacmi = Kazim Hacmi - Yapi Hacmi. 12 m x 0.6 m x 1.2 m'lik bir hendege, kazim hacmi 8.64 m3'tur. Yapi 3.6 m3 ise, net bosluk 5.04 m3'tur.
Contracts faktoru uygulayarak: Gerekli Malzeme = Net Dolgu / (1 - Contracts Faktoru). Yuzde 15 contracts faktoru ile toprak icin 5.93 m3 gevsek malzeme gerekir.
⚠️ Dolgu Hesaplamalarinda Yaygin Hatalar
Kazilmis topragin genislemesini hesaba katmamak
✓ Kazilmis toprak orijinal hacimden yuzde 15 ile 30 arasinda genisler.
Boru ve tesisat yer degisikliklerini gormezden gelmek
✓ Yer alti borulari hendekte onemli bir hacim isgal eder.
Yanlis kat kalinligi kullanmak
✓ Ekipmanin etkili yogunlastiramayacagi kalinliklarda dolgu koymayin.
Malzemeyi uygulamayla eslestirmemek
✓ Drenaj borulari etrafindaki ince taneli toprak suyu hapseder.
💡 Profesyonel Dolgu Ipucu
Yogunlastirmadan once dolgu malzemesinin nem icerigini test edin.
Nukleer yogunluk olcer veya kum koni testi ile yogunlastirmayi dogrulayin.
Dolgu temel duvarinin her iki tarafina simetrik olarak yerlestirin.
YapIsal dolgu icin hicbir zaman organik toprak veya donmus malzeme kullanmayin.
Her yeni malzeme turu icin yogunlastirma seritleri kurun.
❓ Dolgu Hakkinda Sikca Sorulan Sorular
Bos hacim yogunlastirilmamis toprak miktaridir. Yogunlastirilmis hacim mekanik yogunlastirmadan sonraki topraktir.
200-300 mm standart kat kalinligi ile 7-10 yogunlastirma katina ihtiyac vardir.
Eger ozellikleri karsilarsa yeniden kullanilabilir. Yuksek plastisiteli toprak ve organik toprak kullanilmaz.
Dar alanlarda titresimli plakalar, buyuk alanlarda silindirler iyi calisir.
En az yuzde 95 standart Proctor yogunlugunda yogunlastirin.
Toprak turune gore degisir. Killi toprak yuzde 12-18, kum yuzde 8-12, cakil yuzde 6-10.
🏗️ Pratik Dolgu Ornekleri
Gercek senaryolardaki dolgu hesaplamalarini anlamak, malzeme siparislerini dogru planlamaya yardimci olur.
Senaryo 1: Konut Temel Hendegi. 50 m uzunlugunda hendege, kazim hacmi 37.5 m3. Yapi hacmi 12 m3. Net bosluk 25.5 m3. Contracts faktoru ile 30.6 m3 malzeme gerekir.
Dolu hesaplayicimiz temel hendekleri, fore kazik duvarlari ve servis hendekleri icin dogru hacim tahminleri saglar.
